This place is where I pass by every day to get to class, it's a part of my daily routine so I chose it as my second stimuli. However, when I actually go there without being in a rush, to sit there and enjoy the place, I have a different view about this place that I've never had before, which then makes me really interested in this place that I started to stop and wander around this place a little longer whenever I go through it. 

The HDP is a conjunction, a meeting point of transportation, different lifestyles, cultures, and even activities. People pass this place from and to the Central Railway Station are usually in a rush, some stop by to grab a quick meal or a coffee on their way, some choose to a table at cafe to chat with friends while others choose the benches under the shady to have a short mid break from busy working hours or do shopping to relieve stress. I chose to sit on one of the benches, looking down at the whole big view with lots of things going on at a time at this place and this is when I knew this place is my second inspiration source for this project.

The path under the glass dome where people get from and to the Central Railway Station is always crowed and also the noisiest in this area. The sound of footsteps never stops, accompanied by the sounds of different voices, accents, and languages that are used in this flow of people. It's chaotic, hectic but somehow rhythmic and interesting to listen to. Morning rushing people create fast, heavy tone rhythm while afternoon and evening footsteps sound much lighter since they don't have to rush so hard to their destinations anymore. 

However, there are also people who are not in a rush, they are only doing what they enjoy doing at this place such as spending time at the cafe and shops, their rhythm is different, it's slower and chiller than the rushing ones'. 

These two types of rhythms create a conflicting and mixed atmosphere at this place. They are different but created in one single place, which feels like a person who is having his own fight of thoughts in his mind.

This place is also a mixture of different lives and cultures which can be absolutely opposite to each other like the two kinds of sounds. It seems luxury as it's a plaza but at the same time feel not so luxury because of the complex and combination of different living conditions that gather to this place.

I enjoy this place, the spacious place with green shady trees and a complicated mixture of lives.
